Tracker fans have been waiting weeks to see Bobby Exley return to the show. CBS has finally shared when we can expect Eric Graise’s character back on the program and what’s in store for Colter Shaw and the rest of the gang.
When Is Bobby Returning to ‘Tracker’?
According to photos released by CBS, Bobby is set to return to Tracker in season 2, episode 16, titled “The Mercy Seat.” The episode is set to air on CBS on April 13, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET. It will also stream on Paramount+.
The tech wiz was seen in one photo from the upcoming episode sitting at a computer desk while his cousin Randy stood above him. Bobby was seen wearing a black bomber jacket, a red hat and a patterned hoodie in the picture from season 2, episode 16. It’s exciting to see that he and Randy will finally have a scene together after getting to learn more about Randy and his bond with Bobby.
“Colter helps an old friend with a search and rescue mission for two missing sisters in the snowy Montana wilderness,” the summary of the episode said. “Meanwhile, Reenie gets a visit from a new client that challenges her morality.”
By the looks of the trailer for season 2, episode 16, Colter’s next mission will involve a lot of snow. The survivalist will be suiting up to enter the “Deadzone Wilderness” in what fans can expect to be an exciting episode.
Randy Will Also Appear in Season 2, Episode 16
Randy was seen in the trailer for the upcoming episode talking to somebody on the phone. He had an article pulled up on his computer screen about the “Deadzone Wilderness” and some of the crazy things that have happened there. It seems like Colter is in for a wild ride, combating the wintery weather and more in the upcoming season 2, episode 16.
Randy was first brought onto the team in season 2 to fill in for Bobby in episodes 10-15 of Tracker. Randy and Colter previously revealed that Bobby was out of office to deal with family issues. They explained during a phone call that Bobby had to step away from work to attend his friend’s funeral, and his friend was like a brother to him. Colter understood that Bobby needed time to grieve but hoped he would eventually come back to the job soon.
Many were excited when they saw that a clip of Bobby was featured in the midseason trailer, hoping the clip was from a new episode. The clip in question was actually from an old episode, but alas, Bobby will officially be returning to the show after his hiatus.
When Is the ‘Tracker’ Finale?
Ahead of Bobby’s return to the show, CBS announced that the Tracker season 2 finale would take place on May 11, 2025. The finale episode is called “Echo Ridge.”
“Colter returns to Echo Ridge to investigate a diner owner’s disappearance, only to uncover a decades-old kidnapping and a shocking family secret, on the season two finale of the CBS Original series TRACKER,” the episode’s logline said.
Will we finally get some more answers about Colter’s father’s murder in the finale? Fans are sure hoping so.
Tracker airs new episodes on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
