Is There Going to Be a ‘Tracker’ and ‘Fire Country’ Crossover Episode? What Max Thieriot Has Said

Tracker and Fire Country are two of CBS’ hottest shows and fans are wondering if there are any crossovers set between the two hit programs for the future.

Will There Be a ‘Tracker’ and ‘Fire Country’ Crossover Episode?

Fire Country executive producer and star Max Thieriot was asked about a potential crossover with Tracker, which is executive produced and starring Justin Hartley.

“For sure. That could be fun. We haven’t had any of those conversations, but I get that,” he told Us Weekly in April 2025 of whether or not it was a possibility.

So far, no official plans for a Tracker and Fire Country spinoff have been announced.

‘Tracker’ and ‘Fire Country’ Share a ‘Supernatural’ Connection

Both Tracker and Fire Country have connections to the world of Supernatural. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles has portrayed Colter Shaw’s older brother, Russell Shaw, on Tracker since season 1. Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki portrayed Camden Casey in Fire Country. Max joked that he’s trying to recruit Supernatural’s Misha Collins for an episode of the show.

“We should get the supernatural trifecta,” Max said. “We’ll get Misha. I don’t know Misha, but I know Jared and Jensen.”

“They’re not far from us [on CBS], so it wouldn’t be too hard to do logistically in person,” he said. “But there’s a lot of people way above my pay grade that make a lot of those decisions. But I think it would be fun.”

Justin was asked if fans should expect Jensen back on Tracker in the future along with Melissa Roxburgh, who plays his on screen sister, Dory Shaw, and his answer was pretty promising.

“We’re writing for them, yeah,” Justin told TV insider in February 2025.

‘Tracker’ and ‘Fire Country’ Finale Plots Have Been Revealed

The plots for the finales of the current seasons of Tracker and Fire Country have been revealed by CBS.

The two-hour season 3 finale of Fire Country will air on CBS on April 25, 2025. It will be two hours long.

“When a fire erupts at a gas station, Bode and Manny jump into action to protect the patrons and property,” the logline for part one of the season 3 finale said.

In part two, “Extremely high winds and dangerous conditions push the Zebel Ridge fire into Edgewater, threatening Three Rock and Walter’s care facility.”
Max directed part one of the season 3 Fire Country finale.

As for Tracker, the season 2 finale will take place on May 11, 2025.

“Colter returns to Echo Ridge to investigate a diner owner’s disappearance, only to uncover a decades-old kidnapping and a shocking family secret,” the logline for the episode said.

Were ‘Tracker’ and ‘Fire Country’ Renewed?

The renewed CBS Original series include #1 entertainment series TRACKER, #1 comedy GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE, #1 new unscripted series HOLLYWOOD SQUARES, plus ELSBETH, FIRE COUNTRY, NCIS, NCIS: ORIGINS and NCIS: SYDNEY.
