TV's number one show, Tracker, follows Colter Shaw and his team as they work together to locate missing people and objects. Justin Hartley stars as the rewardist, who uses the survivalist skills his father taught him to track down anything from a lost hiker to a fugitive on the run. Tracker is based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver.
Season two has seen Reenie Greene, Colter's lawyer and ex-fling, take on a larger role in the series as audiences see more of her business as she launches her own firm. Velma works out of Reenie's new offices with her. The team has expanded to include Randy, who has been helping out on the tech side of things since Bobby has been absent.
When Does Tracker, Episode 16, Air?
"The Mercy Seat" Was Written by Elwood Reid & Sharon Lee Watson and Directed by David Barrett
In the last episode, "The Grey Goose," Colter went back to Vermont to help find an escaped convict. This Sunday, Colter will brave the snowy wilds of Montana to help an old friend find two sisters who have gone missing. Diego Klattenhoff from The Blacklist guest stars as Roger McLaren, Colter's buddy, who will work alongside the survivalist to find the young women. After locating the missing hikers, the group has to make camp for the night since one of them, Shelly, is in "no condition to move." Colter and Roger split up when Roger goes to find cell service, and Colter stays to stabilize Shelly. But everything may not be as it seems, as one of the sisters claims to have witnessed a strange man with antlers in the woods.

Meanwhile, Reenie gets a morally questionable request from her new client, Leo Sharf. The last time audiences saw Sharf was in "Exodus," when he asked Reenie to dig up dirt on a member of his board, Sheldon Grimes. Reenie's mysterious and shifty new client also gave her a burner phone for communication and paid her extra to avoid leaving a paper trail. He offered to have his decorator come by her office, but Reenie turned him down, saying, "I don’t do gifts—don’t want you thinking I owe you anything." Sharf is played by Pej Vahdat, who also played Arastoo Vaziri on Bones. "The Mercy Seat" will air on Sunday, April 13th, on CBS at 8 pm and streaming on Paramount+.
This Week's Tracker Might Toy with the Supernatural Some More
"Ontological Shock" and "Preternatural" Previously Alluded to the Supernatural
In the sneak peek for Sunday's episode of Tracker, one of the missing women says she and her sister were separated when she followed a man into the woods. When Colter asked for a description, she described the mysterious figure who didn't leave any tracks as "dressed weird" and having antlers. McLaren writes the sighting off as a hallucination, but Colter seems less sure as he heads into the woods to collect firewood. She may have imagined it, or maybe it's just a strange man wearing antlers, but the show might also play with the idea of something more supernatural.

In Jensen Ackles' second appearance on the show, Russell revealed he believed in life on other planets. "Ontological Shock" dealt with a man who went missing after discovering a strange signal he thought came from aliens. Colter and Russell disagreed about whether aliens were real and visiting Earth, but the show left the question unanswered.
Later, in "Preternatural," Colter was mortally wounded by an arrow while trying to save a young healer from a family of drug dealers who wanted to keep her for her skills. As his vision blurred and he began to pass out, she kneeled over him, calling on the spirit of the mountain to heal him. When Colter comes to, he is miraculously stable as he's loaded into an ambulance.

Eric Graise Hasn't Been on the Show Since "The Disciple"

A production still from "The Mercy Seat" shows Eric Graise back at his desk, working with Randy to help Colter on his latest case. Bobby hadn't been seen since "The Disciple," when Colter faced off with the serial killer who called himself The Teacher. Tracker didn't get too specific about why Bobby was gone, beyond "dealing with some family stuff." Mentions of Bobby have been few and far between since.
Despite not appearing in six episodes, Eric Graise remained a series regular on the hit show, giving fans hope that he would return soon. When Fiona Rene spoke with TV Insider, she teased the on-screen reunion of the two tech wizards, saying, "I love Chris Lee with everything in my body. He’s been such a wonderful addition to the Bobby dynamic, and I am very excited to see them together." Fans have been eagerly awaiting Bobby's return.
