Tracker’s New Season Will Expand Colter Shaw’s World

CBS executives are betting big on Tracker. Fresh off its breakout success, the network confirmed that season 3 will introduce multiple new characters and locations to expand Colter Shaw’s world.

Casting calls spotted in Vancouver and Albuquerque teased recurring roles tied to Shaw’s latest cases, including a high-tech hacker, a rural sheriff with a mysterious past, and a former military ally who resurfaces at a critical moment.

Series co-creator Ben Winters described the upcoming season as “a chessboard of danger,” noting that Colter will be forced to weigh his instincts against people who mirror his own methods.

For fans, this expansion promises to keep the series from falling into formula. Each new case brings Shaw closer to understanding himself—and maybe even closer to healing old family wounds.
