What Does Supermodel Gigi Hadid Smell Like? A ‘Million’ Bucks

Ever wonder what Gigi Hadid smells like?

A million bucks, apparently, and this feels oh-so-fitting considering that the supermodel is also the new face of Rabanne’s Million Gold for Her fragrance.

As Hadid, 29, revealed in a Vogue interview published on Wednesday, March 19: “True story, but at Paris Fashion Week, everybody kept telling me that I smelled good.”

“I was scared to admit to them it was Million Gold because they would think it was cheesy. But I actually wear it, and it actually smells good!” It’s the notes of jasmine that hit home for Hadid.

“One of my first fragrance memories was that this fence in my backyard had jasmine vines on it,” she told the publication. “When the sun hit the jasmine the air would smell incredible.”

Inside, notes of rose, jasmine and a mineral-y musk combine into a scent that walks the line between feminine and masculine. Rabanne positions it as a fragrance that “radiates golden success and feminine allure, embodying luxury and sensuality in every drop.”

If that weren’t enticing enough, it’s also worth pointing out that this marks the storied Maison’s first-ever Grand Floral olfactory offering. Million Gold is described as an “intoxicatingly sensual perfume, blending fiercely feminine white flowers, warm rose and addictive mineral musk.”

Better yet, the sculptural bottle is refillable, making it an eco-friendly Eau de Parfum that’s far too pretty not to display on your vanity.

When Hadid recently attended the luxury label’s pop-up event in New York City on Thursday, March 13, she mirrored the fragrance’s name in a full Paco Rabanne look that only just made its way down the runway last week. A sunny-yellow trench coat layered over a pleated frock in the same playful hue. A pair of gleaming metallic boots made for the ultimate Midas-worthy finish.

Hadid added that in the world of colors, she considers only one thing to be more “extra” and more “intense” than her favorite hue, yellow. “Gold,” she said.

“The color reminds me of royalty.” With Rabanne’s Million Gold for Her fragrance, you can smell like real-life fashion royalty, too.
