The confetti has fallen, the votes are in, and The Voice has a brand-new reigning queen!
During a star-studded Tuesday night finale, Alexia Jayy was officially crowned the winner of Season . The victory is a massive moment for Team Adam, marking a triumphant “Battle of Champions” season for O.G. coach Adam Levine.
Jayy beat out stiff competition to take home the title, edging out runners-up Lucas West (Team John Legend) as well as Mikenley Brown and Liv Ciara (both from Team Kelly Clarkson).
The internet was quick to celebrate the soulful singer’s win, with “Team Adam” and “Alexia Jayy” trending on X (formerly Twitter) within minutes of the announcement. Fans on TikTok are already calling her the “next big thing in R&B,” and it’s not hard to see why.
From the very beginning, Jayy was the one to watch. She famously kicked off her journey with a “lights-out” Blind Audition, performing the Aretha Franklin classic “(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman.”
The performance was so powerful that it earned her a three-chair turn. While the coaches scrambled to pitch themselves, it was Adam Levine who made the boldest claim, calling her the “best voice in the competition.”
That early intuition paid off. Jayy spent the rest of the season proving him right, tackling vocal giants like Whitney Houston and the Commodores.
Before the results were read on Tuesday, Jayy shared one final, magical moment with her mentor. The duo took the stage for a breezy, nostalgic duet of the Maroon hit “Sunday Morning,” showcasing the undeniable chemistry that led them to the finish line.
But the night wasn’t just about the trophy. Jayy is wasting no time launching her career, with her debut single, “Rent Free,” dropping at midnight ET on April .
The track is already generating buzz for its heavy-hitting production credits. Jayy collaborated with Grammy winners Jack Splash—known for his work with Kendrick Lamar and Alicia Keys—and Jim Jonsin, the man behind hits for Beyoncé and Wiz Khalifa.
Jayy describes the song as an anthem for self-worth. “‘Rent Free’ is about knowing your worth,” the singer shared. “Sometimes people don’t realize what they had until it’s gone, and by then you’ve already moved on. But somehow, you’re still the one on their mind.”
In addition to the recording contract, this season introduced a game-changing prize. Thanks to Xfinity, Jayy is taking home an “Artist Launch Kit,” which includes her very own home recording studio and a year of high-speed internet and mobile service to help her share her music with the world.
As Jayy prepares to transition from reality star to a chart-topping artist, the fans are clearly ready to follow her.
“I’ve had her on repeat since the Blinds,” one fan wrote on Instagram. “This win was so deserved. Alexia Jayy is the real deal!”
Season may be over, but for Alexia Jayy, the music is just starting to play.
The Voice is produced by MGM Television, Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, and ITV Studios. The series was created by John de Mol, who executive produces alongside Mark Burnett and Audrey Morrissey.
